The Motivational Cycles
Required for Improvement

Cycle 1. Identification of an individual’s safe and unsafe motivations (self-esteem and attitude quotient) through assessment at the time of hire.

Cycle 2. Career employee development through a three-step approach of:

    1. Ownership of Motivations
    2. "Training out" the Negative Behaviors (Baggage)
    3. "Training in" Positive Motivations Based on Capabilities.

Cycle 3. Reinforcement Through Individualized Recognition Programs.

These simple principles achieve immediate results. Industry is already headed in this direction. The Cycle Process (CP) notion is a natural evolution in safety training and not a radical departure from what is known.
