While we have discussed the concepts of deception and distraction multiple times throughout the year, I wanted to talk about it today from a different perspective. I would like you to consider the source and why it is good for you to think through who Satan is and what an adversary he is as well as how he is deemed by God’s spiritual kingdom. Since we cannot see him, we may not give him the credit/respect he is due. The purpose is NOT to exalt him, but as we have said many times and referred to Sun Tsu’s book, you had better know your enemy. If you don’t you are bound to lose the daily skirmishes you face.
Satan used to be one of God’s archangels. That is a very lofty position. There just aren’t that many archangels and the ones that are there are powerful and oversee myriads of people and spirits. We know that God threw Satan out of heaven and cast him down to the earth, where he continues to wreak havoc on mankind according to Isaiah 14:12 – 20. We also know that with Satan a full third of the angels which he brought to Earth with him, (Revelation 12:4) who live outside of time, have been looking around the time continuum for the thousands of years’ mankind has existed. During that time, he and those angels have been able to gather a wealth of knowledge about mankind, both general and specific. He has gleaned this information by studying hundreds of generations of every people group and family.
Take a moment to reflect on Daniel 10:13 (But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.) From this verse, you can see that demons and angels alike are assigned to specific peoples and places. Accordingly, by remaining in those specific places and observing families for multiple generations these spirits acquire knowledge useful for the manipulation of individuals as well as family member’s weaknesses. Their “database” allows them to understand your strengths and weaknesses better than your own mother. They have observed every circumstance surrounding your existence, and watched your reactions unfold, learning the best methods by which to influence you. When someone has observed that much about an individual, he knows how to manipulate them with great efficiency.
What I want you to think about is how that “database” can actually create a type of “artificial intelligence” for those who will manipulate you in the spirit world. When you start writing a question in to Google, you will notice their analytics service tries to finish the question for you to save time and direct it to a quick or prepared answer. Something similar is going on in the spirit world. As you begin responding to words, situations and circumstances, the database comes alive and starts generating thoughts and responses to feed your brain and get you off track. Once the thought is complete, there is an automatic answer for them to get you off track – and BANG, you can be in trouble, quicker than you can reason through or develop an appropriate/proper response.
I tell you this not to stress you out, but to ensure you do NOT underestimate the resources available to the spiritual world to mess with you. We normally think in single, double and on very rare occasions three planes of thought. Analysts have indicated that the concepts of scripture were written on up to 7 different planes of thought, that is why the concepts of “The Bible Code” are NOT unrealistic.
For now, keep in mind that the tactics of deception and distraction are Satan’s favorite and most effective tools. Be on guard, as you will encounter them often.
