Dr. Charles Coker

By now you should be feeling somewhat secure in your faith. Today I want to share a bit of insight assuming your position in Christ based on promises given to you and every believer. To grasp that you must know that Divinity provides a communication frequency specifically for believers. On that wavelength, knowledge and wisdom flow “invisibly” between every Member of The God Family and you.

You are given insight into the spiritual realm which is not available to an unbeliever. Elohim may not communicate with an audible voice, but He does so with an unspoken understanding of your position in the Kingdom. Someone who has not been “born from above” does not have God’s Spirit inside them and is therefore unable to perceive spiritual concepts. (1 Corinthians 2:14) As a matter of fact, they may have demonic spirits oppressing their thoughts and confusing principles of truth. They simply don’t know what they don’t know. However, the believer can be secure in his or her discernment based on Solomon’s statement, “To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and happiness. . ..” (Ecclesiastes 2:26) This wisdom, knowledge, and happiness provide the basis for your eternal hope. But wait; there is more!

The same verse finishes on a Kingdom note that most believers forget, avoid or ignore, stating, “Now, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. . . .” In other words, even though Christ says an unbeliever may be more shrewd than us, (Luke 16:8) eternal riches are being stored up for you and me, replacing (and exceeding) what was stolen from us in this life. This concept should be your foundation and motivation for forgiving those who have taken what is rightfully yours or treated you unfairly. What they take now will be given back to you, along with whatever else they acquired along the way. You get it back eternally, rather than now, when it really does not matter. That divine wisdom brings about peace, reduces stress, lessens anxiety, and in turn makes you healthier and happier. You learn to focus on the principles revealed by divine communication, not the distractions of the world’s media. Solomon said it best when he stated that wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor. (Ecclesiastes 7:12)

Preserving your life requires you to use wisdom constantly. Obviously, that is difficult if you forget your own eternal disposition. It is easy to forget that much of what we see and hear is not as important as what we cannot see and hear. It is employing deductive reasoning in your day-to-day life. You were created for the divine and Kingdom living. You may be passing through this world but you are destined for something greater because of Christ’s sacrifice for you. (1 Peter 2:11, Hebrews 11:13, 1Peter 2:11) If you cannot sense and feel the moment-to-moment security of life in the Kingdom, then this world can become deceptively enticing—especially if you fall into the trap of desiring what this world applauds.

Kids, I know hearing the still small voice is tough – especially when the demons are screaming. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. More tomorrow.

Love Dad
